Dr. John Andrews earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2005 from one of the top Veterinary Medical Programs in the country – the esteemed Colorado State University. After graduating, he was accepted into a highly competitive medical internship at VCA West Los Angeles which he completed in 2006. Dr. Andrews then returned to Colorado where he has been practicing high quality veterinary medicine ever since. His dream has always been to design his own, personal hospital with modern and cutting edge architecture, highly efficient veterinary medical techniques, the most cutting edge equipment possible, and a truly “green” approach. Personally, Dr. Andrews currently has 3 dogs (2 great Danes and a Molish mix) that he loves dearly – their names are Queen Elizabeth, Princess Madeline, Duquesa Sophia. In his rare spare time, he enjoys camping and hiking the many 14er’s in Colorado.

Samantha Thompson
Veterinary Technician
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She always knew she had a love for animals. She started her animal career in 2017 by getting a job at a doggy daycare facility in Denver and instantly fell in love with animal care taking/interacting. She only grew from there and got a second job working as a vet assistant/receptionist at a tiny little clinic in Henderson. Her love for animals blossomed at that point when she started to get hands on experience. In 2018 the opportunity to work at Mead Vet Med Center came into play and she seized the opportunity and has been loving every second of it since! In her free time she spends a majority being a full time fur mamma to three fur babies, Leia(pit), Leo(husky mix), and Levi(retriever mix). They go hiking, spend as much time as we can outdoors, and enjoy low-key days hanging out.

Cherinae grew up in the Galeton/Kersey area, she has had a love for animals since she could remember from growing up on a farm. Wanting to relocate to a smaller town she came across Mead Veterinarian Medical Hospital and instantly felt like she was a part of the family. She enjoys exploring the open spaces of Colorado anywhere from hiking, fishing, boating, and camping. But most of all she would much rather spend her days at home with her husband Tyler, two dogs, Riley, Wrex, and her cat Binx!
